Head Teacher Position

On behalf of the Governors, I am very pleased to announce that Mr Beauford has been appointed Head Teacher on a permanent basis following the recent two-day interview process.
We are naturally very excited about this appointment and I am sure that you will join me in offering our congratulations to Mr Beauford. His passion for the school and for its future, together with his strong belief in its core values, were evident throughout the process. It was this passion and his excellent skills which shone through and resulted in his appointment. Those who have been part of the community at Holy Trinity have seen this passion and belief during his time at the school and most recently as Acting Head Teacher; but they were also clear to the members of the interview panel who did not know him so well. The process was guided and supported by the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust (BWMAT) CEO Philip Bowditch and Tony Blackshaw, the Diocese representative and also a BWMAT Director.
I also want to thank my fellow governors who have worked hard to ensure that the appointment process was rigorous and fair. It has been a time consuming, but rewarding experience for us all.
Mr Beauford will continue to be supported by Mrs Veryard and Miss West in their respective roles as Assistant Head Teacher and Acting Assistant Head Teacher/SENCo.
On behalf of the governing body we want to give Mr Beauford our whole-hearted support and we look forward to working with him in this new chapter for the school.
