The National Curriculum sets out the programmes of study and attainment targets for all subjects at all 4 key stages.
The majority of the National Curriculum was introduced in September 2014. The exceptions are English, mathematics and science.
As an academy and part of the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust, Holy Trinity has a greater control and flexibility over our curriculum. Our Uplift approach to learning, which centres on tailoring learning to the needs of all children and the needs of the collective group, allows us to adjust what we teach and when to reflect the outcomes of our children and the changing world around us.
The Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust use a data tracking system called School Pupil Tracker Online (SPTO) http://www.spto.co.uk/schoolpupiltracker. SPTO allows us to enter and track data on pupils to track their attainment and progress. Holy Trinity has integrated this process to complement our existing systems of tracking and monitoring children's outcomes.
